The rattlesnake skins are carefully selected and only the most beautiful ones are used to make each piece with more than 20 steps involved on its make. The first step is to wrap the skin around the tube in a precise technique and then encase it in acrylic. After that the pens are turned down and polished to a glass-like luster on the lathe. The final details are the engravings and raised details in black titanium on the top, bottom and center band as well as a German made rhodium plated nib with iridium point for smooth writing.
