In 1962, Miralda moved to Paris where he worked as a photographer for \u0026quot;Elle\u0026quot; magazine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eHe became world-famous for his anti-militarist assemblages known as \u0026#39;Soldats Soldés\u0026#39; (Soldiers Solded), featuring large-scale accumulations of plastic toy soldiers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eHe also began creating his famous colorful food plates with his partner, Dorothée Seltz.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIn 1971, he moved to New York, where he organized major food-related events and performances in Miami, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Paris, Kassel, and other cities.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIn 1984, he co-founded the restaurant \u0026quot;El Internacional\u0026quot; in Tribeca, New York, with chef Montse Guillén.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eHe has exhibited in all the world\u0026#39;s major museums, including the Reina Sofía, MACBA, MoMA, and Pompidou Centre.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eHe founded and directs the \u0026quot;Food Culture\u0026quot; museum.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eHis work has been presented at the Venice Biennale, in Hanover, Milan, Seoul, and several Latin American cities.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eFrom 1986 to 1992, he created the celebrated \u0026quot;Honney Moon\u0026quot; project, a visual representation of the relationship between the Columbus Monument (Barcelona) and the Statue of Liberty (New York) in commemoration of the 500th anniversary of Columbus\u0026#39;s birth.
