Frame measurements (height x width): 53 x 43 cm | Frame width: 30 mm. Thickness: 15mm | With 2mm matte acrylic glass and fixings. With a space of approximately 15 mm between the glass and the back, the work is fixed on foam board to achieve the floating effect.

About the artist

Wolfgang Luy was born in Trier in 1949. He trained as a photographer from 1966 to 1969 and then studied photography at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences until 1974. In 1980 he completed his studies at the Düsseldorf Art Academy with Klaus Rinke. In the early 1980s, Wolfgang Luy developed space-related slat constructions and, since 1972, wall and floor sculptures.
